Medical Camp
Welcome to the Tafida Raqeeb Foundation Medical Camp Event 2024.
We are delighted to announce our medical conference and camp event in Bangladesh in February 2024. Our mission is to provide medical care to those in need in Bangladesh. This medical camp event will provide free medical services to those who cannot afford to pay for medical and care related services.
We will be providing a variety of medical services, including general health check-ups, surgical interventions, other medical treatments and enlightenment campaigns. Our medical team which comprises of experienced, professors, surgeons, medical doctors, and other medical staff will be available to provide quality medical care to all of our patients.
We will also be providing educational materials and resources to help educate the people of Bangladesh about health and medical topics. We believe that by providing this education, we can help to reduce the number of people who are unable to access medical care.
We will be hosting a medical conference whereby the foreign team will deliver the latest medical revolution they have achieved in their respective fields. This will then broaden the relationship between the local and the foreign team. Details of the medical team will be published in due course here. We are anticipating taking around 45 medical professionals in the field of cardiovascular, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, ENT, respiratory, urologist, emergency medicine, neurologist and many others.

Paediatric Rehabilitation Centre
One of the aims of the Tafida Raqeeb Foundation is to set up a Paediatric Neurological Rehabilitation Centre which will offer hope to children like Tafida and bring together new treatments and rehabilitation facilities.
The main objectives of the Centre would be:
Reduce disability and improve function in children to maximise their potential;
Facilitate new learning and assist in regaining skills;
Involve parents and increase independence working towards specific family goals. Parents will be trained to provide the continued support at home which enables the child to continue to improve.
The Foundation aims to introduce treatments which are used successfully in other countries but which are not offered in the UK. The aim is initially to set up the Centre to accommodate at least 20 children with the intention to expand as funding permits to meet demand. There will be a dedicated team of experts who will conduct research on cures for brain injury and regenerative medicine including the extremely promising field of stem cell therapy to help regenerate new neurones.
The current defeatist approach towards brain injury robs the life of children and their families. Applying the latest medically advances the Centre intends to become an international point of reference which will bring hope and real help to children with neurological injuries and also their families. The project has been received with enormous interest within the international medical community.
We want to be there to support brain injury survivors. Please join and support us in achieving this vision for our
children. Please contact us for further information. Ways to donate is on our website.
